Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are celebrated as the first couple of design. With a sought-after reputation, they even landed their own show, Nate and Jeremiah by Design. Their partnership began as friends and work colleagues—Berkus was establishing his design firm, while Brent was working for The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Introduced by a mutual friend, the two bonded over a shared love of antiques, even using credit cards to purchase pieces on their first date. In 2013, they got engaged in Peru, celebrating with close friends at Machu Picchu. The couple married a year later and continue to thrive both personally and professionally, creating stunning designs together.
