Attorney arrives
After what seemed like an eternity, Sarah’s lawyer finally arrived, and she felt a wave of relief wash over her. She was hopeful that this nightmare of interrogation would soon be over.
With her lawyer now present, Sarah felt more confident. She explained the whole situation to the officers. After a moment, she took charge and calmly said, “Let me do the talking.” She was ready to handle the conversation herself.
