Attempting to let it go
For the first few days, Pipa tried to put everything out of her mind. She told herself that it was only a matter of waiting one more week to uncover what Jackie had been up to. Under normal circumstances, it seemed like an easy enough task to handle, and she kept reassuring herself that there was no need to stress over it.
However, as the days went by, it became increasingly difficult for Pipa to shake off her obsession. The situation had already escalated beyond her control, and she found herself unable to stop thinking about it. The waiting was wearing her down, and she couldn’t help but feel that something was off.
