Gradually this time
Startled by the sunlight, the animal leaped from Sarah’s arms and dashed back toward the cave. Sarah’s heart raced, but without hesitation, she chased after it. However, when she reached the cave, she found the creature had stopped and hidden itself in a dark corner.
Carefully, Sarah approached and gently picked it up again. Determined to help, she made her way back outside, taking slow, deliberate steps. She hoped that, little by little, the animal would become more comfortable with the sunlight and the world beyond the cave.
