Starting to question
Their honeymoon was set for two weeks from now, and everything seemed to be falling into place. All the arrangements were made, and Pipa was looking forward to the time away. However, she had started hearing some odd rumors about Jackie, and the more she thought about it, the more doubts crept in. Something didn’t feel quite right, and Pipa couldn’t shake the nagging feeling in her gut.
At first, Pipa hadn’t wanted to mention her concerns to Sem. She had promised him everything would be fine, and she didn’t want to cause unnecessary worry. But now that Jackie would be staying in their home for a longer period, Pipa couldn’t ignore her growing unease any longer. The thought of Jackie in their house for an extended time was making her question everything.
