Reaching out to Sem
As Pipa sped toward home, she quickly dialed Sem’s number, her fingers trembling with urgency. The phone rang, and when he finally picked up, she wasted no time. She begged him to come to the house as soon as possible. Now that she had discovered Jackie’s secret, she knew she needed his help to confront her. She couldn’t do it alone, not after everything that had unfolded.
But as she spoke, Pipa realized that convincing Sem to come wasn’t going to be easy. She had already pushed him to the limit with her suspicions, and getting him to believe her now, after everything, would be a struggle. She hoped he would see the truth and act fast, but doubts crept in.
