Acting oddly in the bathroom
Jackie then walked into the bathroom, disappearing from Pipa’s view. Pipa’s house didn’t have cameras in the bathroom, so she was left completely in the dark about what was happening inside. Her mind raced with possibilities as she stared at the clock. What could Jackie be doing in there? The unknown was starting to gnaw at her, but she tried to stay calm, knowing she had to keep track of time.
Fifteen minutes later, Jackie finally emerged from the bathroom. The sight of her reappearing only deepened Pipa’s growing anxiety. Fifteen minutes was far too long, and the fact that Pipa had no idea what Jackie had been up to in that time only fueled her paranoia. What could possibly have taken that long? Pipa couldn’t stop herself from spiraling into suspicion, questioning everything.
