Melissa Etheridge And Linda Wallem

Melissa Etheridge’s first album earned a Grammy nomination for its hit single, Bring Me Some Water. By the time her third album, Never Enough, was released, she won a Grammy for the song Ain’t It Heavy. Melissa is known in the music industry for her raspy voice and ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with folk-rock and pop melodies. While she has no acting credits, she found success in the film industry by winning an Academy Award for Best Original Song for I Need to Wake Up, featured in the 2006 film An Inconvenient Truth.

Melissa also found love with Linda Wallem, a TV producer. The two first met when Linda was casting actors for her upcoming show, That ’80s Show. Though Melissa didn’t land the role, they became close friends. Today, the two live happily as a married couple.
